Homemade Butterfinger® Candy Bars

Winter is coming…

We need to gain a few “ell” “bee” “ess”

You know, to help keep us warm…build up our reserves

So who cares

…break out a few ingredients and take 10 minutes out of your day, I promise it will be worth it

I combined the BIG Cheez-It crackers & peanut butter

smooshed them together to form a sandwich

dipped them in chocolate Candiquik

and set them on wax paper to dry

and sprinkled a few crumbled cheese crackers on top…

For Halloween I want to be…

That’s a great question…the question I tossed around this weekend.

And honestly, I didn’t come up with a clear conclusion. Instead?!

I created cute, creepy, delicious little Halloween treats.

So if I don’t win the costume contest, I will still be the most popular – just have to win ‘em over with the sweet treats.

The CUTE: Itsy Bitsy Spider sandwiches – chocolate, peanut butter, I think you shall be convinced to make these-  http://www.candiquik.com/halloween2010/r_itsybitsyspidey.html

Bob for the Delicious: any party is not complete without these candied apples – and maybe you can even bob for them….just an idea :) http://www.candiquik.com/halloween2010/r_mummifiedapples.html

These guys are pretty “cute” too

I could go on. And on. And on… but realistically, I’m just going to ask you to visit our Halloween site. Not only for recipes, but a complete party planning guide for your Halloween! Trust me…

Miss CQ presents…Mini Painted Pumpkins

Good morning to anyone listening out there – or rather, anyone “reading” out there. A little break from the recipe postings to bring you:

PUMPKINS! Mini ones, 100 of them…all coming soon! A fun and easy craft for you and the kids (or just you!). Give them to friends, family, etc!

Lumpy ones, ones with warts, angry ones, complacent ones, funky ones, sweet ones, lovey dovey ones, dorky ones, chipper ones, cooky ones, cranky ones, cantankerous ones, wacky ones, scary ones…

you get the point.

What! You want a sneak preview?!

Ok…twist my arm. First in our line-up I want you to meet Betsy:

“Well hello there boys! My name is Betsy…”

“Just call me Omar”:

This is Duey, ‘enuf said.

Ohhh Jack!

“Top o’ the morning to you! My name is Brennigan.”

Wow, ok. More later. Happy Friday everyone, talk soon.
