Cake Bite Christmas Tree

This tree has to be one of the most elegant and awe-some desserts I have made!

I won’t lead you on, it was a bit time consuming. I would highly suggest breaking it up into a 2-3 day project. Make your cake pop mixture on day 1. Coat and decorate your cake pops the following day and construct the tree on the 3rd day. And if you’ve never made cake pops - start here.

This tree was approximately 18″ tall. You could certainly downsize and make a mini tree.

Gobble, Gobble! Turkey Cake Pops!

I didn’t mean to tease you all.

Who would’ve thought these little guys would be so popular!!?

Ok, ok, so as soon as I made them and looked at their googly little eyes, big beak and candy corn tail – I knew.

They just have so much personality!

Each one of them. Whether they have a cute face or stink face.

So I couldn’t help but share the photo with you on Facebook before I actually had the directions written up.

But here ya go -

Boo-tiful Cake Pops!

These were SO fun to make.

And even more fun to eat. Carrot cake + cream cheese frosting…definitely one of my favorite cake pop flavors.

Which character is your favorite?

These cats are pretty darn cute.

First things first – you will need some basic supplies and pinch of patience. Feel free to make all of the characters or just one.

The ghosts, by far, were the most simple.

The ingredients below are for ALL of the characters.

Howdy!

Hello!

Hola!

It’s just about time to start posting fall inspired recipes and then umm, that season that follows fall.

Yikes.

Let’s not talk about that yet.

Let’s talk about cherry chips, coconut, chocolate and all the goodness they can produce.

Lil’ Chick Cake Bites

Allow me to overwhelm you with cuteness right now.

Thanks to Bakerella whom I believe was the original creator of these delicious little creatures.

I think these lil’ chicks are too cute for words.

They’ll definitely give these lil’ bunnies a run for their money.

Just don’t be like my dad.

Here is how our conversation went.

Me: “DAD! Look at these cake balls I made!!! Aren’t they sooo cute!!??”

Dad: *Pffttt! Laughing out loud*….”Yea…they look like flying saucers or something”

Me: “Da-a-add!….really…!? “

Bunny Cake Bites

Almost too cute to eat. Almost.

These would definitely be too cute to eat – if they weren’t filled with cake, frosting, and all the other necessities your (ok, my) body needs.

For your next Playdate. Birthday. Or how cute would these be in an Easter basket!?

I highly recommend:

Bunny Cake Bites!

freakin’ adorable ‘lil wabbits, aren’t they?

Cup.Cake.Bites.

It’s totally okay to eat cake for breakfast, right?

As long as you go on the stair climber afterwards?

That’s how I justify things…it works.

There’s Always Room for Cake and Ice Cream – Ice Cream Cake Pops!

These are my favorite cake bites (balls, pops…) for a couple reasons:

1 Just look at them! A-dorable!

2 I LOVE Ice Cream

I could eat a BOWL every night  before bed, & actually… I used to.

Seriously, every night. Ask my mom.

Had to knock that off though, you know how it is.

how cool are these though – cake! posing as ice cream! Bakerella is a genius, I think she’s the one who originally dreamed up these. Then I just took it a step further and added a cake ice cream bowl!

Chocolate-Cherry Cake Bites

It’s been a tough winter.

Our favorite recipe has consisted of these ingredients:

-8 ft. of snow

-cold, very cold temperatures

-icy roads

-slushy parking lots

Sometimes I wonder how we get through it. But somehow we do, year and year again…

but then I remembered, it’s the little things.

The little things in life mean the very most.

Like chocolate cake covered cherries.

Double Mmm…
