“What do all these things have in common!?”
I’m about to tell you. Right now.
But first, I didn’t really expect to be posting this kind of blog post, for… I dunno, a long time. A reallyyy long time.
Not to mention I’ve been sitting on this post, having it half-written in my blog folder for 2 weeks.
I’ve checked our facebook page 17 19 times today while writing this. Visited 4 recipe sites and checked my email numerous times. I got lost on the Pioneer woman’s site and am now suddenly craving Tuna Melts, Big Fat Bacon Sliders, and Pig Cake. Love that lady (who doesn’t!?), but she is really no good for the waistline.
Anyways, what I was trying to say is – my brother is still… like… 12 years old – in my head.
It was just yesterday he grew in two Chiclet-like front teeth and my best friend and I sang him the Goof Troops theme song. Mean, just mean. We only did it once though – promise.
And Weddings? What do they have to do with this? Sweets? Put the pieces together. Blend.
My, yes – MY lil’ brother proposed to his girlfriend!!!
My little brother is getting married! (Sniff) Can you believe it? Yes, you probably can, but it really hasn’t hit home for me yet.
Maybe you know someone who is getting married….and maybe, just maybe, you could make something sweet for that someone. I have some ideas for you. Sweet ones.
Oh, but I cannot leave this part out. I must say, baby bro, you made me proud. And set the bar very high for any other guy considering proposing.
Sunday afternoon, my brother and Tiffany, his girlfriend fiancée made a little day trip to the ever-so-romantic city of San Francisco. They toured the surrounding cityscape, beaches, parks, Golden Gate Bridge, steep rolling hills, and the eclectic mix of architecture…via HELICOPTER. Then…then, a dinner cruise along the coastline. How cool is that!? Two thumbs up! Just a little jealous I didn’t get invited
