Hi Sharon, I drop each cake ball directly in the tray of CandiQuik, then using a spoon, I pour the coating over the cake ball and then carefully scoop the cake ball out (let the excess coating drip off) and place on wax paper. Hope this clears it up – much easier than cake pops
