Valentine Heart Candies – 5 Ways

1. Hot Chocolate Stir Sticks

So, if you didn’t hear through Club CandiQuik…this super cute {limited edition} Valentine Candy Kit is in Walmart stores right now. The kit includes 1 package of Chocolate CandiQuik, a heart-shaped silicone mold and a booklet filled with recipe ideas.

Have you ever used silicone for your chocolate molds? I love it! The chocolate comes out super shiny and they are very easy to pop out.

(If you can’t find this mold kit in stores or they have sold out, you can search for a heart-shaped mold on Amazon.com and still make these!)

The best part is that none of these ideas really require a set of directions.

2. Peanut Butter Hearts

For the filled hearts (this is as complex as it gets):

Spoon a small amount of Chocolate CandiQuik into each mold cavity and rotate the mold by tipping from side-to-side, to coat all edges. Once completely dry, spoon a dab of peanut butter into each hollow chocolate heart. Top with additional chocolate.

or caramel….?

These hearts are tiny, so one package of Candiquik makes about 45 hearts, more if you’re filling them!

You could combine these with any of my free valentine printable gift tags and be on your way for cheap.

4. Heart-shaped Bark Candy

For this heart bark, I filled the silicon mold about 3/4 of the way and then sprinkled with this mixture of chopped peanuts, dried cranberries and mini chocolate chips.

5. Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies. These were amazing…

My favorite is the peanut butter blossom cookies. Love the heart on top! I rarely pass up the chocolate/peanut butter combo except when I see a caramel filled chocolate. Hmmm – maybe those are my favorite!
