Mocha Marshmallow Pops

Mocha Marshmallow Pops

I have a confession.

I tried a macaron for the first time, ever. I know, I know. What a terrible baker/dessert blogger I am! The worst part is that when I say I tried one – that’s exactly what I mean. Tried. I was not the baker.

Have you ever tried a French macaron? I realize I may be standing alone here…

I also went to Bouchon Bakery for the first time (hence, the macaron trying). Bouchon is located in the heart of Napa Valley in an adorable little town named Yountville. Rumor has it, they also make their own vanilla extract. Vanilla latte anyone!?

Speaking of lattes, espresso and anything coffee flavored…I made a mocha flavored coating.

It was very difficult, as you can see from the pictures below…

Now, dip your (clean) finger in the tray (twice) and taste. You know, for quality control. Then add another packet of the mocha flavored Frosting Creations for good measure (and repeat the sampling process).

Or if one packet is enough for your taste, so be it.

This coating would be awesome for just about anything, but today I’ve made mocha marshmallow pops.

I used my handy dandy stand that I got from KC Bakes to hold my marshmallow pops until they were dry

This has to be one of my favorite Frosting Creations flavors. The possibilities are endless.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I did.

Tip: stir these in your hot chocolate or coffee!

I love this idea and I love mocha! I just recently started learning to make cake pops. Its fun, its creative, but its time consuming. A marshmallow pop would be a time saver. I especially love the idea of making drink mixers for hot chocolate. Great for gifts!
