Cute, easy, awesome. Chocolate Covered Ghost Pretzels. Halloween treat solved.
Life is busy. You’re busy. I’m busy.
Sometimes, I’ll admit, I eat cereal for dinner.
Sometimes I’d rather use boxed cake mix (GASP) versus making a cake from scratch.
And sometimes I’d rather go out to eat at just the mere thought of scrubbing a pan.
These ghost cookies? These are for those kind of days. Days where cereal is an acceptable dinner, boxed cake mix is your best friend, and you don’t feel like doing dishes (umm wait, that’s always).
All you need is a sheet of wax paper, a tray of Vanilla CANDIQUIK Coating, pretzel rods and mini chocolate chips.
You may notice, I used the same directions and only swapped one ingredient from my Strawberry Ghosts.
- 1 (16 oz.) package Vanilla CANDIQUIK® Candy Coating
- Pretzel rods
- Mini chocolate chips
- Melt Vanilla CANDIQUIK in tray according to package directions.
- Dip ½ of each pretzel rod in the melted CANDIQUIK; allow excess coating to drip off and place on wax paper.
- Before coating has set, place two mini chocolate chips on as the eyes. For the mouth, cut off the tip of a mini chocolate chip and place on the pretzel with the bottom side facing up.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!
