If you asked me to choose my favorite recipes from 2011, at first I would tell you – no problemo, piece of cake.
In fact, it’s not a piece of cake (literally or figuratively, I guess). Its like asking a parent to choose their favorite child.
Some are just too cute not to be included. Some too delicious. Others just hold a special place close to my heart.
So allow me to compile all of the cuteness, deliciousness and meaningful recipes from 2011…
Flourless Chocolate Torte
*Sigh* Dense, fudgy, downright delish.
Cranberry Orange Bliss Bars
How do you know when a recipe is kickin’ good? When everyone who tried it, “needs” the recipe immediately because they are going to make them that weekend (and the weekend after).
Strawberry Shot Glasses
‘Nuff said. New Years Eve party anyone?
Homemade Almond Walnut Joys
Coconut and Chocolate. Best combination since PB&J. In my books, it kicks PB&J to the curb. I think I’m going to make these right after I finish this post.
Golden Lemon Oreo Truffles
Easy, delicious, awesome for parties, great for a quick dessert, or any day that ends in “y”.
Cocoa Peppermint Creme Cookies
They are sorta like girl scout thin mints, on steroids.
Oh, Chocolate Turkeys…
I made you on a whim for a last minute Thanksgiving idea and you became a web obsession overnight.
Chocolate Covered Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries
The idea for these originally came from a Club CandiQuik contest a while back. What’s not to love here? Chocolate covered strawberries = love. These = double love.
Cake Bite Christmas Tree
This oneis a no-brainer. How could I not put it on The List!? Plus, it took the most of my time in 2011, so it deserves a spot.
